Physical Aspects

Map of Zambia This shows a relief amp of the country illustrating most of the river systems, and the main cities and towns. Also shown is the railway and road setup. The capital, Lusaka, and Ndola are the tow biggest cities.

The most notable mineral in Zambia is copper. A good portion of the country is within a belt containing this mineral. This is known as the Copperbelt.

Zambezi River This link talks about the distance the river covers. It also discusses about the dams that are setup alongside the river such as the Kariba Dam. Camping and accommodation information for tourism is not as well.

Zambia as Northern Rhodesia A brief history of the country is given when Zambia was known as Northern Rhodesia. The period is from 1910 to 1953. Note the colonial flags.
