This is an exercise in creating a hypertext markup language (HTML) file for the web. The main objective is to learn how to create a web page and then open and print the file using a web browser such as Netscape or Explorer. The HTML commands that are used for this web page are identical to those used in the notes assignments.
How much information you put into your biography is your choice. The grade is based mostly on the correct formatting of the notes. I have noticed that the amount of time of effort that a student puts into their biography seems to be related to how well they do in class.
I would really like to know about where you grew up and where you have travelled.
Grades:
110% - Biography with imbedded Picture, no-formatting problems
100% - No formatting problems. Printed with a web browser (not Word)
90% - Minor formatting problems. Printed with a Web browser (not Word)
70% - More than one formatting problem or more than one day late. Printed with a word processor instead of a web browser.
50% - Incorrectly formatted or more than one week late. Printed with a word processor instead of a web browser.
0% - not turned in, more than two weeks late.
