Research Directions in Cartography:
Various types of research are done in cartography. The purpose of this assignment is to categorize these research directions and identify new areas of research related to the distribution of maps through the web. These new directions may be extensions or modifications of previous directions. The documents may be self-contained or may have links to other information available on the web (cartography resources, web-related research, cognitive psychology, GIS, scientific visualization).
