Who I amI was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. Osaka is the second biggest city (six million people) in Japan. If one remembers an earthquake in Kobe (1995), Osaka is next to that prefecture. The weather in Osaka is so mild. So it was very tough for me to go through Nebraska's winter for the first time. About Japan
I went the Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE. Before I came to Fremont, NE, I was in Vancouver, Canada for a month to brush up my English. I was always tired at that time, because everything was in English all the time. I really had a good time in Fremont. People out there were so friendly and helpful. Although it was not easy for me to get things like Japanese or even Asian foods, I can call there as my home in the U.S. Whenever I have a time, I go up there to spend some time with my American families. How about Omaha? Of course, this is a nice comfortable place where I can go around and get have choices. I have been here for a year and plan to finish my study by next May. After that, I do not know where I am going. Maybe New York...because I'm interested in working at an international agency such as the United Nations.
