ADVANCED CARTOGRAPHIC METHODS is a graduate seminar
in cartography. The course examines advanced methods for the representation
of spatial data. Emphasis is placed on the design of interactive
and animated maps that may be distributed through the Internet.
A particular emphasis of the course is how an urban environment
can be represented on the web. Projects will directed toward the
creation of a map-based web page for Omaha.

COURSE CONDUCT:
Class discussions, based upon reading assignments and designed
to supplement such readings, form the core of the course. Students
are held responsible for all material covered in class and all
assignments and, therefore, absent themselves at their risk.
