Hi, my name is Eric Yamashita
I work for a photogrammetric company, called Air Survey Hawaii, Inc. My primary job is to edit digital topographic maps that were created by photogrammetric methods, so that they are presentable to clients.
I also work in interpreting aerial photographs, and developing black and white, color, and false color infaredphotographs in the photo lab.
Besides being used for topographic mapping, aerial photography is also used by engineers, planners, and scientist to study natural disasters.
I received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii in Geography, specializing in Cartography.
My coursework included classes in Cartography, Computer Cartography, Geographic Information Systems, Field Mapping, Aerial Photo Interpretation, and Remote Sensing.
I am currently an unclassified graduate student. My professional interests are in remote sensing and image processing
My email address at the University of Hawaii is firstname.lastname@example.org.Hawaii.edu
