Landscapes come in many forms. There are tropical valleys and windswept desert plains. There are landscapes formed by methods of farming. Urban landscapes develop as a result of human patterns of habitation. Another landscape of sorts forms in the sky as thousands of aircraft are carefully choreographed by ground control to ferry passengers from one place to another. It is the landscape of constantly moving air traffic that is the subject of this atlas.
